AUDITIONS
Chorus Auditions
The Kentucky Opera will be holding auditions for new choristers for its Brown-Forman 2010 Fall season on Monday, April 12 from 3pm-9pm. All those interested in auditioning will be asked to prepare 2 arias (1 Italian, 1 English). Accompanist will be provided.
Auditions will be held on the second floor of ARTSPACE, 323 West Broadway, Louisville, KY.

Studio Artist Program
Kentucky Opera is auditioning for the 2010 Studio Artist Program. Each year, up to four singers are chosen to be Resident Studio Artists. Performers participate in mainstage productions covering roles, performing comprimario roles, and singing in the chorus. Singers participate in masterclasses with guest artists, the Composer Workshop, perform outreach events, prepare a scenes program, and perform educational programs. The program runs August through November with a winter/spring component depending on the schedule. Repertoire will include CAVALLERIA RUSTICANA/I PAGLIACCI, THE ELIXIR OF LOVE and MADAMA BUTTERFLY.
Auditions will be held:
December 4 and 7, 2009 Louisville, Kentucky Opera offices
December 10, 2009 Cincinnati, CCM
AN ACCOMPIANIST WILL BE PROVIDED FOR AUDITIONS
